Jock "Jocko" McQuilkin
Camper, U.L., councilor from 1954-1962
Violent thunderstorm in Atlanta this evening...reminded me of the torrential downpours where the rain thundered down on our tents- weren't they called "Otsegos"? I loved it; was reading about Walter Lord (I was his geisha one summer-must have been around the time he wrote about The Battle of Midway) and Hillsy; discovered that Harry Turner was "The Commodore's" godson; would love to hear from Harry and "Chooch" and any other of my wayward charges.
Graduated somehow from Hobart College and then from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, Phoenix; still working in the institutional investment business (co-founded Cadence Capital Management, Boston); also co-wrote with my illustrator wife, Martha Young McQuilkin, a fairytale for adults, "The Legend of the Land of Caelumen"; 3 children, 5 grandchildren.
