1/13/2003 -- Josh Shoemaker writing -- I find these groups enormously intriguing. All of them. And, as far as I can tell, this is the winner in a sort of a Grapes of Wrath/Tobacco Road way. Can't tell the precise year, but that's certainly Andy Rooney and Roger Mudd, top left, and it's got to be Jim Thorpe at the far right. Is he bound for church? And bottom center? What are the odds that this guy is destined for the slammer?
