1939. From Herb Pickett's history: "[Walter Lord] went up to a local farm and bought a little white baby pig, which he called "Pearl Susscrofa." One night they gave her a debutante party. Larry, Jake Madden, Billy Lynn and Bucky Turner were his gang in jokes like that. [Walter] just liked being at camp and another part of the Picketts."
